There is no “one size fits all” approach to psychological treatment. Psychologists use different therapeutic approaches, based on their training and practice background, the client and the issues presented. Most importantly, clients are treated as individuals and many aspects of treatment may be adapted to best suit a client and their situation.

David uses techniques that draw on his training and experience in evidence-based psychological treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness based therapies, as well as Psychodynamic Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
